Christmas in Verona! Art, ecology and tradition

With new lights technologically innovative and energy-efficient, the Christkindlmarkt, Cribs & landscapes and the International Festival of the Nativity in Art and Tradition are the ingredients of Christmas in Verona. For the fourth consecutive year, the Piazza dei Signori hosts it until December 21 and features wooden houses of the Christkindlmarkt in typical traditional crafts, decorations made of glass, wood and ceramic gifts and specialties. The market will be open from Sunday to Thursday from 10 am to 21:30 and Friday and Saturday until 23.

This year, for Christmas Verona still points to the tradition, but also ecology. During the Christmas holidays, in fact, the city will be illuminated, thanks to the “Verona dresses of Light” with new lights technologically innovative and energy-efficient which will be placed on the monuments of Piazza Bra and the main streets of the city. Also this year the show Cribs & Landscapes will repeat which will be on display in the Palace of Reason about 400 cribs made of recycled materials by students of different schools of Verona.

However from December 1 to January 20 the 29th International Festival of the Nativity in Art and Tradition will be hosted. Make an appointment with the art in the picturesque setting of the Arena where you can admire an exhibition show of music, lights and projections, many cribs that come from all over the world, from international museums and private collections. The Festival will be open every day from 9 to 20.
