Cologne Christmas market with a maritime theme

Perhaps you are among those who do not particularly like the tourist situations too, perhaps to make Christmas gifts you need one more reason to move the festive period, then here is an idea to experience the Christmas markets in a somewhat ‘particular” way to whet the desire to travel and meet in the search of curiosities. As you can imagine, Germany (with its wealth of ancient traditions) offers a variety of special occasions, today we mark the Harbour Christmas – The marketplace of Cologne on the waves of the river Rhine

The theme of this market on the water is dedicated to the sea and sailors and there are scheduled pirate  animations  like the Pirates of the Rhine, the children’s stories of adventures, monsters and many seafood specialties as well as traditional Christmas banquets, this count stands at 79 years pagoda. It is a fair of contrasts where the typical songs of this period were drawn near the melodies of the sea, plus the beauty of the old town.

Because all this took place near the Malakoff tower (built in MIDDLE AGES) and the Chocolate Museum. The Harbour Market in Cologne opens on the 29th of November, 2012 and lasts until the 23th of December, 2012, entry times are from 11 to 21 and the market is  5 minutes from the city center, along the riverside promenade, if you take the bus 106  and stop at Schokoladenmuseum.
