Paracas in Peru | Where the sea and the desert meet

There is only Namibia, where the entire coast is a National Park, but also Peru can offer the spectacular desert that ends in the sea. These beautiful photographs were taken in Paracas in Peru, where there is an entire desert peninsula, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the marine reserves already the only trouble the South American country which is about to enter the World Heritage protected by UNESCO. Among the many areas of great natural beauty of the peninsula, a special mention deserves to the big red beach, the result of the ancient volcanic eruptions, which produced a type of clay with this particular color. Yellow, Red and Blue which makes it a a big “spot” for great photographs.

If out of the water is the desert, here the sea is full of life, thanks to the high concentration of plankton, which, by their presence, give way to the food chain of  varied species and in some areas it is overflowing life animal.
