Dubai is targeting to be the number one tourist destination for both adults and children. In the next few years, it will come true as the figures of tourists are rapidly rising. Children and young at heart will simply enjoy the adventure that the city has to offer. The much awaited theme park is the Dubailand which is found in the Emirates Road. It is easy access it, as this place is just 10 minutes from the airport and an hour drive if you are coming from Abu Dhabi. This destination offers the family pure entertainment. The said theme park will have quite a number of attractions including the best rides. Within the park is where you can find luxurious accommodations that will encourage people to stay in the area. It is composed of 7 theme parks. Some of its parts are operational like the Autodrome and Al Sahra Desert Resort.

In the meantime you can visit the aquaventure where you can explore the world of water thrills and you can slide down at the Ziggurat. On the way up you will be going through shark infested lagoons. The whole ride is about two kilometers. There are also water rapids and smooth white water dissents. For the young ones, they can have a much gentle experience on the Splashers; this is a great water playground with unique kinds of water adventure. Ever turn you take; there is something new to discover. The oldest theme park in Dubai is still open and that is the Al Nasr Leisureland. This was opened in 1979 and it covers about 48 acres. The whole park is a hub for sports and entertainment which is all in one roof. There is also entertainment in the evening where you can find locals and expats. A few minutes from the city center itself, the Dreamland Aqua Park has about 25 water rides that are set in 250,000 square meters. You can find rides that are perfect for the brave. This includes the black whole and the twisting dragons. There are quite a number of restaurants and cafes within the area. Additionally, you can spend a night there on their camping facility.
Although the temperature in Dubai is rising, there is a place that you and your family would fancy. This is Ski Dubai in Emirates Shopping Mall. The sight is truly amazing. People can watch over the glass windows as skiers passing by. Moreover, there is a place where children can build snowmen. It is truly a must see attraction. There are five ski runs and the longest one is 400m. There also ski lifts that can raise you up at 60m. Ski Dubai is the first indoor ski run in the world. There are other attractions for kids like the Wild Wadi Waterpark.
