The island of Bohol in the Philippines is the main island of the province consisting of more than 75 islands that surround it. Bohol is located southeast of the island of Cebu and southwest of the island of Leyte making it the tenth extension of the entire Philippine archipelago.
The island of Bohol is a tropical paradise of intact natural beauty. The coast is bordered by gentle coves and white sand beaches. Although not well known by international tourists, locals know it well especially for being a paradise for divers and snorkelers. Here, tourists and residents gather to admire the evolution of dolphins and whales.
Enjoy the sea in all its forms but also don’t miss the natural inland beauty, such as the Chocolate Hills, more than 1,700 grass-covered hills which in the dry season become chocolate brown, as well as the natural habitat of the island of Boracay, the Terraces Banaue and the island Bellarocca.
