10 Things to do Oktoberfest in Munich:apart from drinking

If you have decided to take advantage of these last days of September (or early October) to make a leap in Munich of Bavaria to fully appreciate the atmosphere bubbling by the Oktoberfest, an advice MSNBC might like to hear about, of course, no more than those of Grace and Gabriel.

It starts with avoiding the biggest and celebrated tents, in which the best places have been booked since the previous year. Learn a few simple words in German which can then come in handy, even when you will have the mouth mixed from beers. Do not try to reach the area by car but definitely prefer public transport, including a mug and the other; do not miss a tour of the city by bike.

Before setting off on an intensive care unit of beer and hot dogs treat yourself to a visit to Marienplatz, do a little shopping around the Viktualienmarkt, a stop (non-alcoholic of course …) to Hofbruhaus, a visit to the climbing tower Alter Peter (306 steps), a brisk walk nell’English Garden (but fear not, there are also breweries here) and a visit to the fascinating crowds and Neuschwanstein Castle. If you have a week available it will not be a problem to do them all ….
