The statue of Jesus in Brazil

The Statue of Christ the Redeemer sits at the top of the Corcovado hill above Rio de Janeiro, in the national park of the Forest Tizouka. It is the first thing that someone sees while standing at a height of 710 meters. It has a height of 32 meters and weighs 1,000 tons. The foundation of the statue began on 4 April 1922 and the project belongs to Paul Lantovski.

Parthenon, Greece

The most prominent landmark of the country is located on the hill of the Acropolis in a height of 156 meters above sea level and about 70 meters from the level of the city of Athens. The construction of the temple of Athena began in 447 BC under the direction of the architects Iktinos and Kallikratis. It is a Doric temple with eight columns on the short sides and seventeen on the long sides. The Parthenon, as part of the larger monumental complex, has been included in the list of UNESCO world cultural heritage since September 11, 1987.

Angel Falls, Venezuela

The view is breathtaking. The tallest waterfall in the world is located near the delta of the Orinoco river, in the Canaima National Park. The route is spectacular, especially the view of the mountains with a flat surface, known as tepouis, and rivers between the vegetation of the jungle that reflect light like mirrors to leave me speechless. This visit is marked as a life experience.

Museum of Natural History, USA

It is the largest museum of Natural History in the world. It has over 36 million exhibits, which show very realistic the evolution of life on the planet. Most popular sections are those of the dinosaurs, the meteorites and the room with minerals and gemstones, which keeps jewelry worth 50 million dollars. The museum annually receives more than 4,000,000 visitors.

Taj Mahal, India

Located on the south bank of the river Yamuna near the Agra city complex is developed around the mausoleum erected by Mughal Emperor Jahan to honor his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died in 1631 during childbirth. To complete all the buildings of the complex took 22 years and 20,000 workers. The Taj Mahal is considered one of the greatest architectural creations in the world and the maximum of the Mughal architecture.
