At the entrance of the old city, Plac Zamkowy or in the Castle Square, you will find the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the seat of Polish monarchs which is alive since 1596, since when Warsaw became the capital of the kingdom. Heavily bombed by the Germans during World War II, it remained in ruins until 1971, when they began the work of reconstruction, which was completed in 1988.
For travelers on a visit to Warsaw the place is a must, if only to take a picture in front of its imposing façade which is dominated by the clock tower. The Castle open at official representation in one hand, now houses a museum, one of the most visited attractions of the city with permanent and temporary exhibitions (including a collection of oriental rugs and paintings by Rembrandt). It is open every day except from Monday (admission free on Sundays).
From the 2nd of April next year Warsaw will be reached from Pisa with the new Ryanair, the low cost most sought in Italy, which connects Pisa airport Modlin, a town which is about 40 kilometers from Warsaw. There are going to be two flights a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays
