Ardeche river is a river that winds through an impressive gorge to go through a modeling natural limestone arch, a bridge with a span of 60 meters high limestone, which together with the rock formation look stunning from any angle. An estimated 100,000 people each year pass through the arch which forms a type unique in the world for its size. The arc is part of a course full of obstacles to the river which continues its winding curves through a gorge thirty kilometers long in limestone plateau shaped by thousands of years between the Pont d’Arc and Saint-Martin d’Ardeche, in the Languedoc-Roussillon, Rhône-Alpes in southeastern France.
The Ardeche River Gorge attracts thousands of visitors especially in summer. On its shores are beaches and huge cliffs. The water is clear, and invites a dip, or a navigation (especially kayaking). Although it must be informed of the rainy season, during which navigating the river is prohibited by the floods (in autumn). Also in the vicinity are caves, climbing sites and hiking trails. The Ardèche river is a natural wonder as also is the s turquoise Gorge de Verdon, not so far (a few tens of kilometers to the east). A journey that many French and foreign decide to travel along its entire course, browsing dozens of miles as one of the best adventures in nature to perform in France.
