We have already spoken several times about it, but did we not imagine that the current situation had degenerated to this point. In two years Pont des Arts, one of the most beautiful in Paris became the Bridge of padlocks. The same fate had Pont de l’Archevêché, right in front of Notre Dame with its impressive glance.
The wrought-iron railings that left filter for its the elegant profiles of the Île de la Cité and Notre Dame de la Seine is now lush and thickened of horrendous shiny locks. Has anyone tried to give them “a coat of green,” at least to make them more camouflaged, but as you can see, it was all useless. It is likely that the Parisian administration will be forced to take action by the Romans. The handrails of bridges are clearly at risk failure with all that weight that is not provided.
It remains amazing to see as a fashion so stupid, produced by a mediocre romance, a man as ignorant as illiterate that has had such success. Rampant everywhere or maybe it’s just a symbol of the cultural decay of our day. Of course it sucks.
