If you’re in New York is likely that you feel lost among its thousand chances of entertainment, expectations upon your return will be many and all they ask you what you saw. That’s why even the lucky ones who can afford shopping tours of various kinds, must take into account a minimum of scenic route to be able to say “at least I’ve been there …”.
Here then is an interesting and simple list I found on a travel blog that seems to resolve the issue Journey to the Big Apple – The steps require:
• Go to Chinatown
• A trip to the library Strand
• Take a lesson in acrobatics at Trapeze School
• Hang out in Brooklyn waiting for a street performance
• Visit the flea market, a kind of Hell’s Kitchen
• Trip to Coney Island
• A walk on the Brooklyn Bridge
• The High Line park on the old rails in Manhattan
• A ride in the bay at sunset (perhaps by boat)
• A taste of deli from Katz’s Deli, famous for the “pastrami” pancakes with sausages and french-toast
There should be a good lap time among the top ten destinations mentioned above, whatever the duration of your trip you can choose at least one and your stories will give dream to your friends that are waiting at home.
