Bathsss, what a passion! The Romans and the water had a very close relationship which was dictated by necessity, but also with pleasure. And so , here we are in Europe (but also all over the world), we find the remains of aqueducts and baths.
If the thermal bath in Budapest is to become the main protagonist (again thanks to the Romans), perhaps it is in England, in Bath, which preserves the most important thermal building of the Roman times.
The building, still well preserved over the centuries because they have been maintained functionality, consists of the baths themselves, the source is already known to the Celts, of course sacred, of a Roman temple and a museum, where the finds are exhibited found by archaeological excavations. The entire complex, in 1987 was declared a World Heritage Site and is protected by Unesco.
The ancient Roman baths are no longer swimming due to pollution of the water, but do not worry, because Bath, which is a major tourist center, as well as many hotels and bed and breakfast, still offers the possibility of relaxing, and safe bathrooms term.
