Maho Beach, St. Maarten

One of the best beaches in the world is Maho Beach and there are truly a lot of reasons why this is so. One of the most obvious is the location, since it is found in the island of St. Maarten which is near the Netherlands. Don’t expect to have a peaceful day in this area. Imagine yourself under the sun and looking at the beautiful sea. Surprisingly, there will be an airplane that is landing above your head. There is no other place where you can get close to the aircraft landing like this place. Take note that the ones landing are not just small aircrafts.

The planes landing are big 747 jumbos that are arriving from international destinations. The reason for this is the fact that it is located just across the road from the runway of a nearby airport. The landing airplane is so close to the people in the beach that when you stand up, you can feel like touching the wheels of the aircraft above your head. If you are planning on having uninterrupted times with your favorite then avoid the Maho beach.

The thrill can be felt every thirty minutes since airplanes are landing and taking off. Only a small and narrow road is separating the beach from Princess Juliana, the International Airport. This is said to be one of the busiest airport in the eastern part of Caribbean.

While in the Maho Beach, you can feel the heat of jet blasts and the whipping of the sand. Everything is like a close call. The peak time of the jumbo jets is in the afternoon from St. Maarten is the smallest island that is divided into two nations – France and Netherlands.

This is an island with great beaches and breathtaking landscapes that is attractive to thousands of people from different parts of the world.There are a lot of photographers who are attracted to the place. They want to take pictures of the airplanes and people who are sunbathing on the beach.

This is definitely a unique attraction to a lot of tourists. It is about watching big jets flying about you. People who are on the beach are often blown to the water because of the jet blast. Recently authorities of the airports have added fence to protect people in the beach. If you want to experience something different then it is about time to check out in Majo Beach. This place is truly special and unique.
