In New York, there are many companies that are engaged in conducting tours for those with which to enjoy and visit some iconic locations in Manhattan. They come in all kinds: from discovering Harlem, its music and ‘food for the soul’ to routes inspired in television series and films that any fan would enjoy to the fullest. The most famous and celebrated among young girls visiting the Big Apple is probably the walk that shows you the mythical places where Carrie Bradshaw spends her daily life, or the path of ‘Sex and the City’.
There are many scenarios that have appeared in the series, but our selection (only for fans!) covers the following six locations:
Surely everyone who has seen the series will remember Carrie’s apartment, with its stairs at the front door. If you want to visit it, it is located at 66 Perry Street … although the neighbors have decided to ban to take pictures at the door, as more and more fans hinder the entry and exit of the inhabitants of the building.
To enjoy a delicious cupcake, as the four friends in the show did as they talked about the great mysteries of life, you must go to Magnolia Bakery, which is placed at 401 Bleecker Street. Carrie also occasionally went out for breakfast, and the chosen place was called Coffee Shop, which is located at 29 Union Square. It also happened that sometimes in the series Carrie decided to have brunch instead of breakfast, and these times she did it at Pastis, found it 9 Ninth Avenue.
Her incurable shoopaholic addiction about shoes made Carrie be a frequent client of an exclusive Manolo Blanhnik store located at 31 West Street to 54th Street (next to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)!).
Carrie celebrated a special dinner for her closest friends the day before she married Mr. Big in the Buddakan restaurant, which is easily found at 75 Ninth Avenue of New York. If you go for lunch or dinner at this place, you can see the table where they all met together.
