Prague, Czech Republic
The City of a Thousand Obelisk, as it is known, is pervasive mysterious atmosphere that seems to haunt the heroes of Kafka and Czech director Jan Svankmajer. At each step in the medieval and Gothic buildings coexist with modern hotels, gourmet restaurants and trendy bars. Medieval emblem of the Prague Old Town Square with the fairytale setting that takes us back to the 12th century and the castle, the largest medieval complex in the world. Dating back to the 9th century and is now the seat of the President and the Government.
Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany
Captivating city on a hill with red walls and around the river Tauber stretching underneath. Walt Disney was captivated by both the scenery of the city used it as inspiration for the village in the movie Pinocchio. The medieval and Renaissance houses with red roofs maintained for centuries and were fully restored after the Second World War.
Palmanova, Italy
Established in 1593 as a stronghold of the Most Serene Republic of Venice and is built in an 18 corner shape. Belongs to cities UNESCO World Heritage Site and from above resembles a snowflake with narrow spread out like sunbeams.
Eguisheim, France
Just 15 minutes from Colmar, the beautiful little village of 1500 inhabitants is considered the birthplace of Alsatian wine and belongs officially to the union of the most beautiful villages of France and in 2013 won the title of favorite village in the country. In the medieval village fortress colorful houses of the 16th and 17th century with pointed roofs, antiquated fountains and stone paths create an elaborate maze surrounded by vast vineyards.
