This time leave behind the exotic beaches with golden sand and the design infinity pools that seem to bind to the sea and take unique dives in caves, waterfalls and spas of nature. Discover the most beautiful natural pools, from around the world below!
Ik Kil, Mexico
The original use of this location was not so idyllic as the Maya used the cavernous sinkhole for human sacrifice in the name of a deity of rain, the Ik Kil. Today is a necessary stop for the visitors of the ancient city of Chichen Itza.
Blue Lagoon, Iceland
This is an amazing geothermal spa that attracts millions of tourists from around the world and is located in Iceland, 13km from the airport and 39km from Keflavik Reykjavik. It is the only place in the world where a deep ridge reaches the shoreline. The “Blue Lagoon” was created in the late 70s and consists of warm seawater from the depths of the earth and is rich in minerals.
The Blue Hole, Ochos Rios, Jamaica
This island country may be full of exotic beaches but no one can resist a dip in the turquoise waters of the “natural pool” formed in the River White. They say that the dip is even more special if visitors swing around like Tarzan from a thick rope hanging over before plunging at high speed in its waters.
Cummins Falls State Park, Tennessee, USA
To reach the natural pool between the cities of Nashville and Knoxville, you will need to follow paths walking on water and climbing the rope that leads to your final destination. The route has a length of 4 km and above the water level rises the 23 meter waterfall.
Erawan Waterfall, Thailand
Not one but seven waterfalls above one another create wonderful pools ideal for swimming in the west of the country. To explore the entire park it will take about 4 hours and besides crystal clear waters full of fish you will encounter many caves.
