3Nosy Be, Madagascar
The island of Nosy Be, with such an unusual name, is located in Africa. In fact, it means “big island” and is just that, a large island off the northwest coast of Madagascar. There one can find volcanic lakes, sloth lemurs, rum distilleries, plantations of Ylang Ylang and coral reefs that practically beg to be explored. Lovers of flora and fauna will be fascinated by the beautiful Lokobe nature reserve.
