Located in the South Pacific off the coast of Chile, Easter Island is not exactly the easiest place to find. If you are interested, the best way to access it is by air from Santiago or Tahiti. However, isolation has preserved well the mysterious ancient sculptures built of volcanic rock, the Moai, the main attraction of the island.
