The famous Last Supper painting by Leonardo Da Vinci is found in the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. This is the great painting of the era capturing the moment where Jesus shared his last meal before being executed. Plaza del Duomo

The Plaza del Duomo is an amazing site and it is considered the largest church in the whole of Christianity. There are thousands of statues found in the church. It has a baroque and a neo gothic facade. The place took five centuries in order to be completed. To appreciate the whole beauty of the place, you would want to take a trip to the roof where you can see the Alps.

Milan is known as one of the fashion capitals where clothes jump off from the runway. The boutiques in the city are found in one spot. You can find shops of top designers like Armani, Pradi and Versace. Although the price tags are way up, you can spend time looking at the windows.

Castello Sforzesco

You can explore the maze of Castello Sforzesco. There are about 12 small museums with collections coming from the Paleolithic era through the 50’s. Bear in mind that you will need the whole day to visit the place. There is a showcase specifically for Leonardo Da Vinci. Scodellino Bridge

Milan is not Venice but has a lot of canals where you can silently cruise the waters. There are tours that you can join where you can see important parts of the city like Scodellino Bridge and several ports. The banks of the canals are filled with small shops, bookstores and pubs.

Pinacoteca di Brera

If you love the art then you will enjoy the best collection of the Pinacoteca di Brera. It is a museum that covers the art works of the 13th to the 20th century Italian artists. Among the must see art works include Dead Christ, the moving Pieta, and  the Supper at Emmaus. There is a section filled with modern collection. Near the museum is the Orto Botanico di Brera where you can relax.
