5. The Ruins Of Pompeii

I was overwhelmed the first time I visited the ruins of Pompeii, a place with so much history that was buried under the ashes of Vesuvius volcano. Thousands of people perished in that catastrophe. Thanks to Vesuvius the state of the city and other localities around it are in great condition.
Pompeii is a place to spend at least a day to get lost in, for its many alleys always hold a surprise.
