There are two Norwegian fjords that have been declared as a World Heritage Site by Unesco. One of them is the Geiranger fjord which we dedicate as an entry and select images in the first post. It was our first approximation to paradise in a Norwegian version: dark blue waters surrounded by majestic peaks and cliffs, rock walls, waterfalls, lots of green (in summer of course) and among such visual beauty, charming villages and history.
The Naeroyfjord is the second version of paradise we were in debt, and in turn, an arm of the Sogn Fjord (or Sognefjord). What follows is a selection of images of the whole environment of this vast fjord, the second largest in the world.
Located 75 kilometers north of Bergen, Sogn Fjord spans 204 kilometers and reaches staggering proportions both below sea level (up to 1300 meters) and also above the sea level, with cliffs that can overcome 1,000 meters. Along the fjord, there are numerous people who are charming. And in particular, the Naeroyfjord, is a Norwegian natural paradise with unspoiled beauty. An ideal itinerary for tour boats crossing landscapes.
