China is a huge country with many projects underway. Many of them aim to amaze the world and today we’re presenting one like that.

This year in Zhangjiajie National Park opened to the public a bridge with  glass floor. It is the longest and highest in the world. It is also very versatile.

This building covers an area of about 300 meters through a canyon from a height of 300 meters above ground. It was designed by Israeli architect Haim Dotan (who also conceived the Israel Pavilion for Expo 2010 in Shanghai). For its creating manufacturing of glass panels 25 times stronger than conventional window glasses were used.

Not only thanks to the intense emotions of going from side to side as many meters above the ground but because this place is part of the great set of Wulingyuan, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It has also served as inspiration for James Cameron to create planet Pandora from the movie ‘Avatar’.
