Here is the opening of the first riverside park of Asia, River Safari, which opened today its doors to the many tourists and visitors who were in the area. 8 fluvial, 300 animal species, 150 types of plants that welcome children, families and business travellers who will enjoy the widest variety of aquatic animals in the world.
Strange beasts like the Giant Salamander, the world’s largest amphibian, the Mekong Catfish and Giant River Otter, which can reach almost 2 meters in length, will enliven the 12 hectares of the park, where they re-created the shores of the major rivers of the world: Mississippi, Congo, Nile, Amazon, Ganges, Murray, Mekong and Yangtze. The River Safari has been realized within the Mandai Nature Reserve and aims to be an important center for the protection of endangered species, like the two giant pandas, Kai Kai and Jia Jia, from the Nature Reserve of Chinese Ya ‘an Bifengxia
