Besides being a beautiful town with nice people and where you can eat very well with great views, Lisbon, capital of Portugal, is a fairly accessible city for our pockets thus staying in Lisbon is economical and also allows you to choose between different options.

As usual, after purchasing the flight tickets the first step is to find accommodation and that’s how you end up finding several options, and according to some reviews these are the five best places we recommend you to sleep in Lisbon:
– Refuge Hotel: It’s not beautiful, you feel cold in winter and need to ask for extra blankets, but there are two things to highlight of it: It’s well located (rua Camilo Castelo Branco nº22) which makes it accessible to many interesting points of the city, and it’s pretty cheap (you can pay little more than 20 € per night), although there are others with a similar price.
– Goodnight Hostel: If you’re a solo traveler you’ll pay only 17€ whereas if you go with other person it won’t be more than 45€ per night, which is a very affordable option for travelers seeking sleep in a quiet, warm and more than comfortable beds.
– Lisbon Poets Hostel: A country with such important writers as Fernando Pessoa and José Saramago has to have literary influence even in the hostels and that’s the thing about this place: it’s a themed hostel that goes between poetry and cinema. In addition to its immense hall, if we’re lucky we’ll see some of the soirees with flamenco guitars.
– Sunset Destination Hostel: Being on the riverside of Tagus river gives it the chance to offer really lovely views and also, if you are someone who enjoys nights that never end, on Saturdays you can have a party with DJ included and all for prices around 25€ for a private room.
– Mercy Hotel: This hotel is meant for those who have no problem spending 120€ a night cause, although expensive, its location (Rua da Misericordia, 76), attention and luxury are crucial here. But perhaps what makes it more attractive is the views to Baixas and Tajo rivers.
The options are many and the prices varied, but what we usually prefer is to opt for lowest prices without losing quality accommodation, and that’s something the Portuguese capital offers by far!
