Bécherel | The ancient city of books in Brittany

Of course, the French region of Brittany is not just around the corner, since it is located in the north of the country. But with a little goodwill it can be achieved and fully appreciate. There are many places that we have already seen and reported (find here), but today we add another. It is Bécherel, the city of the book.

Located about 30 kilometers from S.Malò and Rennes Bécherel the city is overlooking the valley of Rance, preserving architectural remains of a tumultuous past. Historical facades and streets from the Old introduce libraries, artists and craft shops can all be seen there.  Flax and hemp have made the fortune of the city from the 16th to the 18th century and for about 25 years are the books that make Bécherel famous. Bookshops, antique dealers, bookbinders, publishers and graphics abound in the streets of this small town character of Brittany.

It has highly effective and excellent graphics of the map multimedia center, which contain the main attractions, services, hotels but not the main monuments.
