Lake Como’s lush vegetation and beautiful towns have made it a popular filming location for Hollywood blockbusters. The lake was a filming location for the 2004 film Ocean’s Twelve, which starred Lake Como resident George Clooney. Other famous films to have been shot near the lake include James Bond film Casino Royale, which was released in 2006, and Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, released in 2002.
