What does green hotel really mean? When more and more travelers are worried about the impact on the environment of their own holidays, then companies should care about it. The International Design Hotel chain has three members, shining examples of this philosophy, from SoHo New York Hotel Crosby Street Hotel, until the The Scarlet in Cornwall and Topazz Vienna.
Having been awarded as one of the most environmentally friendly hotels throughout New York, Crosby Street Hotel follows several eco practices. During construction, all hazardous materials removed, while the recycled rubble. The lighting is energy, green energy is used everywhere and a system that minimizes water use. It features a series of green features as a vegetable garden on the roof that supplies our restaurants with seasonal products. Inside and 86 rooms and suites, divided into 11 floors , has a strong emphasis on colors, fabrics and furniture, which were made mainly by American designers, such as artists from Philadelphia Galbraith & Paul.
